Aviation
AT Engine Controls aviation experience dates from 1957, when the company designed the first full authority control system for the Rolls-Royce Gnome engine initially fitted to
the Westland Whirlwind and now in extensive use worldwide on the Sea King Helicopter.
As the design authority of the Gnome and T55 Digital Electronic Control Unit (DECU) engine control systems, AT Engine Controls has successfully supported the installed base world-wide continuously for over forty years, either by contracts directly from the UKMoD and other overseas governments, or indirectly by subcontracting from the engine overhaulers (Rolls-Royce).
Oil and Gas
AT Engine Controls Ltd are the design authority for the DIGICON® / SEQUEL® range of equipment providing support for the gas turbine control systems and equipment previously built and supplied by Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Engineering®, HSDE®, Vosper Thornycroft Controls® and VTC Engine Controls®.
